Yuvajana Sakhyam Kalamela Day Two 2010

Philadelphia Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam will be conducting Kalamela for the youngsters in our church. Kalamela will be held at our church on 8/29/2010 ( Augest Last Sunday) & 9/5/2010 ( September 1st Sunday) after the worship service. Items are as follows

1. SOLO (Male & Female) from Christheeya   Keerthanangal. Hymn #    73 (Padum Parama Rakshakane…….) Participants should sing chorus and two stanzas of the song selected by the judges at the time of the event.
2. BIBLE READING
3. ELOCUTION: Time 5 minutes. Topic will be given 5 minutes prior to the competition for each participant.
4. BIBLE QUIZ: 50% Questions   Acts of the Apostles 1 to 15, 25% Questions  from Whole Bible, 25% Questions from Mar Thoma Church History. The questions will be asked in Malayalam

Rules & Regulations for the competition

1. All items are individual and in Malayalam
2. These competitions are for the youngsters in our church, preferably in the age group of 13-45yrs old.
3. Winners will get an opportunity to attend the Yuvajana Sakhyam Regional Kalamela conducted at Ascention Mar Thoma Church on September 18, 2010.
4. Competitions will be conducted for those items have only 3 or more participants
5. Following members are included  in the Competition committee

Participants are requested to submit their names to the above committee on or before Augest 15, 2010.

All the youngsters in our church are requested to attend this competition.
