Yuvajana Sakhyam One Day Retreat

A one day retreat  has been organized by the Yuvajanasakhyam at our church on October 1st 2011. The theme for the retreat has been selected as “ Creating Healthy Patterns in Family Life”. Rev. Dr. Joe Joseph Kuruvilla will be the main speaker at the occasion. After the lunch we will have sports and games also. Those who wish to attend this retreat please give your names to the Secretary Mr. Binu Jacob at the earliest. We request all your prayers and support to make this event a valuable one.

Yuvajana Sakhyam Kalamela – Part 2

Philadelphia Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam will be conducting Kalamela for the youngsters in our Church. Kalamela will be held at our church on 9/17/2011 and 10/2/2011, right after the worship service.

Solo Male, Solo Female, Bible reading and Elocution will be conducted on 10/2/2011 (October 1st Sunday)

  1. SOLO (Male & Female) from Christheeya Keerthanangal.
    (Participants should sing chorus and one stanza each of these songs selected by the judges at the time of the event.)
    •    a.) Hymn #409 (En Aasha Yeshuvil…….)
    •    b.) Hymn #389 (Ennu Nee Vannedum…….)
  2. BIBLE READING
  3. ELOCUTION: Time 5 minutes. Topic will be given 5 minutes prior to the competition for each participant.

 

Rules & Regulations for the competition

  1. All items are individual and in Malayalam.
  2. These competitions are for the youngsters in our church in the age group of 13-45yrs old.
  3. Trophies will be awarded to the winners. Also they will get an opportunity to attend the Yuvajana Sakhyam Regional Kalamela.
  4. Competitions will be conducted for those items have only 3 or more participants.
  5. Judges decisions will be final

All the youngsters in our church are requested to attend this competition.
